Freddy’s Burgers

A quick and delicious burger inspired by Freddy’s style, perfect for a fast meal!

Ingredients:

4 oz. ground beef

Salt, to taste

1 slice American cheese

1 whole hamburger bun (small, standard size)

Instructions:

1️⃣ Heat the Griddle:

Preheat a griddle over medium-high to high heat.

2️⃣ Form the Patties:

Divide the ground beef in half and roll each portion into a rough ball.

3️⃣ Smash the Patties:

Place one beef ball on the griddle. Using a large (non-slotted) spatula, press down with a coffee mug or large measuring cup to flatten the patty very thin. Repeat with the second beef ball. Sprinkle both patties with salt.

4️⃣ Cook the Patties:

Cook the patties for 1 to 2 minutes, or until nicely browned on the first side. Flip the patties over and cook for another 45 seconds.

5️⃣ Add the Cheese:

Place a slice of American cheese on one of the patties. Stack the other patty on top of the cheese. Allow the cheese to melt for 15 to 20 seconds.

6️⃣ Assemble the Burger:

Place the cheeseburger patties directly onto the hamburger bun.

7️⃣ Serve:

Serve with your favorite toppings such as ketchup, pickles, mustard, mayo, jalapeño slices, etc.
