Banana Cake with Luscious Buttercream Frosting!

Ingredients:

2-3 ripe bananas (mashed)

2 tsp lemon juice

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup butter (softened)

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup light brown sugar

3 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups buttermilk

Buttercream Frosting:

1 cup butter (softened)

4 cups powdered sugar

1/4 cup heavy cream or milk

2 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Quick Steps:

Mix bananas & lemon juice. Set aside.

Cream butter, oil, and sugars. Add eggs & vanilla.

Alternate adding flour mix & buttermilk. Fold in bananas.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) in two 9-inch pans for 25-30 mins.

Cool & frost with buttercream!
