Homemade Crunch Wrap Supreme

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef (Or get creative! Chicken, tofu, or your favorite protein will do)
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 large flour tortillas (10 inches or bigger for that supreme size)
4 tostada shells
1/2 cup sour cream (For that tangy twist, but it’s optional)

Directions:

Cook Your Protein: Start by browning the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. If you’ve chosen a different protein like chicken or tofu, cook it until it’s done. Once cooked, drain any excess fat.

Season Up: Add the taco seasoning mix to your protein with some water (follow the packet instructions) and let it simmer until the mixture thickens.

Lay It Down: Lay out one of your large flour tortillas on a flat surface. In the center, spoon some of your seasoned protein, but be sure not to overstuff it. Remember, we’ve got more layers to add!

Stack It Up: On top of the protein, spread some sour cream (if you’re using it). Place one tostada shell over the sour cream. Now, sprinkle some lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cheddar cheese on top of the tostada shell.

Wrap It Up: This is the fun part. Starting from the bottom, fold the edge of the tortilla to the center. Continue this process, working your way around, folding the tortilla over the center until the filling is completely covered (think of it like folding a hexagon).

Crisp & Serve: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, place the Crunch Wrap Supreme (fold-side down) onto the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Your wrap should be crispy on the outside and melty on the inside.
Serve your Homemade Crunch Wrap Supreme immediately, and watch as everyone marvels at your culinary prowess!

Pro Tip: Want an extra layer of flavor? Consider adding some sautéed onions, peppers, or even a sprinkle of fresh cilantro before wrapping it all up.

I await your comments! Enjoy!
