Anna Nicole Smith’s Daughter Makes Rare Appearance On Red Carpet At 16 -And Everyone Is Saying The Same Thing.

At one point in time, Anna Nicole Smith was one of the world’s most famous faces.

Smith rose to prominence in the 1990s by posing for Playboy magazine before moving on to work with major companies such as Guess and H&M.

Unfortunately, as we’ve seen time and again, her celebrity and riches would ultimately play a large role in her downfall. Smith, 39, died of an accidental drug overdose in 2007.

Smith’s daughter, Dannielynn Birkhead, was only five months old at the time. Many years have passed, and while Dannielynn has remained mostly out of the spotlight, she recently appeared in front of cameras with her father, Larry Birkhead, to attend the 2023 Kentucky Derby.

Needless to say, everyone was taken aback by how much Dannielynn has grown into the spitting image of her late mother…

After multiple photoshoots with Playboy, Anna Nicole Smith rose to prominence in the modeling world. She was finally signed by William Morris, one of America’s most prestigious talent agencies, and went on to feature in modeling campaigns all over the world.

“I love the paparazzi,” she told the Washington Post at one point.

“They take pictures of me, and I just smile.” I’ve always like being the center of attention. I didn’t have much growing up, and I always wanted to be acknowledged.”

The wild life of glamor, glamour, and money, however, took its toll.

Many consider Smith’s high-profile connection with petroleum millionaire J. Howard Marshall to be the start of her downfall. The 63-year age difference between Anna and her elderly husband raised many eyebrows; many people assumed Anna was only interested in Marshall because of his riches.

The pair married in 1994, but Marshall died just six months later, at the age of 90.

Years later, Smith and Marshall’s family were embroiled in a legal struggle over his will. In 2006, the case reached the United States Supreme Court.

Then, in 2007, Anna Nicole died as a result of an overdose, leaving behind a five-month-old daughter, Dannielynn Birkhead.

Following her renowned mother’s death, Dannielynn soon became one of the world’s most talked-about youngsters. Her early life was immersed with intrigue and suspicion over her father’s identity.

Several individuals claimed to be the child’s father before a court ordered a paternity test. The test confirmed that Dannielynn’s biological father was Larry Birkhead, Anna Nicole’s boyfriend at the time of her death.

Dannielynn hasn’t been seen much after then. Dad Larry appears to have taken pains to ensure she received as normal an upbringing as possible, enrolling her in a regular school, scouting, and attending church every Sunday.
That’s probably why Dannielynn drew so many stares when walking the red carpet with her father at the recent Kentucky Derby.

The now-16-year-old donned a top with images of her mother to the Barnstable Brown Gala, which took place ahead of the Derby. Larry was dressed in a tie with the same graphics.

“She’s showing off her fashion sense while also paying tribute to her mother,” Larry explained. He went on to say that he and Dannielynn chose to pay tribute to Anna Nicole Smith because it was the 20th anniversary of the day he met the model in 2003. He was a photographer covering the event at the time.

Larry claims to have kept Anna Nicole’s old clothes in storage, that Danielynn occasionally goes through them.
“And everything she has of her mom’s is cataloged in storage, with photos of the event where she wore it,” Larry stated.

“She can give them to her children someday if she wants.”
