Baked BBQ Baby Back Ribs

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup ancho chile powder
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup salt
  • 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon ground dried chipotle pepper
  • 1 rack baby back pork ribs
  • 1 cup barbeque sauce

Instructions :

  1. Prepare the ribs according to the instructions below, and they should be placed in the oven at a temperature of 250 degrees. To remove the membrane, prick the rib several times with a knife. Generously coat the ribs with a layer of dry rub. They should then be placed in an aluminum foil cover and cooked until tender, about 2 hours.

  2. The ribs should be placed in the oven at a temperature of 350 degrees. To remove the fat and juices, open the aluminum foil and drain. To serve, brush the barbeque sauce on the slibs.

  3. The ribs should be placed on the rack and returned to the oven, leaving an aluminum foil cover. After 10 minutes, remove the lid and brush the remaining barbecue sauce evenly on the ribs. Repeat the process of brushing and baking the ribs for 40 minutes.

Tips and Tricks :

For a more crispy taste, add in some oil and a pinch of salt to the ribs. They should then be placed on a grill for an additional 5 minutes. If you love spicy food, add in some chili or hot sauce. These ribs can also be served with herbed potato salad and baked cheese grits.
