Baked Crab Legs with Butter Sauce

Crab, any way you make this delicious seafood is the best! However, I have a recipe here that is better than all the rest! When you make this recipe, you are going to find that the crab legs are so easy to eat, easy to prepare and will make even the most finicky person happy. This is a fancy restaurant meal without the hefty price tag to go along with it.

Crab legs could be considered a delicacy, to some people. When you find a recipe that makes them taste like a five star restaurant meal, you know that you have a winner.

However, although you could use Snow Crab legs here, I highly advise using the King Crab legs. They are meatier and just come out so soft, fluffy and delicious. All this with very little work.

Crab legs can be served with a side of Risotto and a nice dinner salad. My family enjoys Twice baked potatoes and a side of Spinach or Kale with their Crab legs. I have to say, not only does this make a tasty meal, it is very pretty to look at when you are serving it up.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Should I boil the crab legs first?

I have actually tried this recipe boiled and also made it by baking the crab legs, I really prefer to bake them, without boiling! Baking them will actually enhance the flavor of the crab meat.

Can I put them in the oven while they are frozen?

Of course you can! Obviously, you will need to add some additional time to the baking time though. The internal temperature does need to be at 145* to be safe to eat seafood.

            How do I store these?

Hopefully you do not have any left! If you do, place them into an airtight container and then into the refrigerator. They will last for 2 days, I would not leave them any longer than this though. Seafood can be a very touchy food.

            Can I freeze these?

Once they have cooked thoroughly, allow them to cool completely and place them into a freezer safe bag. They can sit in the freezer for 2 months.
