Classic tomato sandwich

  • 1 large ripe tomato, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

Instructions:

  1. Toast the Bread (Optional):
    • If you prefer a toasted sandwich, toast the bread slices in a toaster or on a griddle until golden brown.
  2. Spread Mayo:
    • On one side of each bread slice, spread a generous layer of mayonnaise. This adds creaminess and enhances the flavor.
  3. Layer Tomato Slices:
    • Place a layer of thinly sliced tomatoes on one of the mayo-covered bread slices. Arrange them evenly to cover the entire surface.
  4. Season with Salt and Pepper:
