Classic Whole Roasted Cauliflower

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:

    • Trim the stem so that the cauliflower sits flat in a baking dish or on a baking sheet.
  3. Make the Spice Mixture:

  4. Coat the Cauliflower:
    • Brush the entire cauliflower with the spice mixture, ensuring it is well coated.
  5. Roast in the Oven:
    • Place the cauliflower in a baking dish or on a baking sheet.
    • Roast in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes or until the cauliflower is golden brown and can be easily pierced with a knife.
  6. Baste Occasionally:
    • Optionally, baste the cauliflower with the accumulated spice mixture every 15-20 minutes during cooking for added flavor.
  7. Check for Doneness:
    • The cauliflower is done when it’s fork-tender and has a nice golden crust.
  8. Serve:
    • Transfer the whole roasted cauliflower to a serving platter.
