CREAMY LEMON SQUARES

With a tasty graham cracker crust, a thick lemon filling, and fresh whipped cream on top, these Creamy Lemon Bars are a treat!

A recipe for a thick and creamy lemon bar
No one else in my family seems to love lemons as much as I do. My new favorite thing is these lemon bars. A base that is crunchy and a center that is thick and creamy. It’s both sweet and sour. It has the right amount of each taste. The work and time it takes to make these bars are well worth it.

HOW TO MAKE LEMON BARS

For this, you need to use lemons that have just been squeezed. The stuff in a bottle doesn’t taste as good, and these will taste weird and fake. Spend some time pressing fresh lemons. You’ll be glad you did it.
You can make key lime bars with this same method! Just use key limes instead of lemons in the recipe.
Grain cracker pieces from the store will also work in this.
Since you made these bars yourself, you need to give them time to turn out right.
They should be put in the fridge to cool for at least 4 hours, but overnight is better.

WHAT YOU NEED: (Full recipe at the end of the post)

This is probably the kitchen area that doesn’t get much attention.

The worst thing that can happen is being afraid of having to clean the oven after a tasty meal. It’s easy to put off cleaning the dust, oil splatters, and smells until the next time, but cleaning expert Shannon Lush says it should only take five minutes. However, we already know the answer to your question “How can I clean an oven in five minutes?”

There is no magic bullet that will clean an oven that hasn’t been used in a while right away. You need to do this so that food and dirt don’t pile up. To do this, clean the tool well every time you use it. All the time, yes. You can deep clean your oven by following these steps. Here is Shannon Lush’s quick five-minute daily oven clean that will keep it looking brand new.
How to clean an oven right
Now is the time to be honest. Is your oven in a bad state? When you open the oven door, all you see are the burned leftovers of many dinners past. It’s time for a deep oven clean. Even though you might think so, you don’t need to use strong chemicals to clean the oven.

You will need baking soda.

Liquid lemon
Water for drinking
Dish brush or scrub sponge that won’t scratch
Rubber gloves
soap or tablet to clean the dishes (not required)
One made of microfiber
How to do it

Put on gloves made of plastic and mix bicarbonate of soda and water to make a paste. Take the racks out of the oven. Be careful not to get the paste on the door, the burning element, or the light bulb when you put the paste inside the oven. Spend the night with the paste.
Fill up a sink or bathroom with hot water and some dish soap. Put the oven racks in water for at least two hours. First wash it well, then rinse it and let it dry. It’s possible that the baked-on grime won’t come off. To do this step again, soak a dish soap pill in hot water and let the racks soak again before you scrub, rinse, and dry them.
Overnight, let the bicarbonate of soda break down the grease. Use a dish brush or scour sponge that won’t scratch to clean the oven well the next day. Spray white vinegar that hasn’t broken down on the oven and let it sit for a few minutes. If you still see dirt that is baked on, wipe it down again. After that, wipe it down with a wet cloth.
Now is the time to clean the glass. Mix bicarbonate of soda and water to make a paste. Cover the oven window with the paste. Wait thirty minutes. Use a soft, wet cloth to wipe off the paste and grease. Then, use a wet cloth to wipe down the glass after spraying it with vinegar. You can clean between the glass in some oven doors by pulling them apart. (Read the instructions that came with your oven to find out how to do this safely.)
The oven’s outside needs to be cleaned. Use a wet microfiber cloth with some dish soap on it to clean the buttons, the outside glass, and the door handle. You’re done when you put the clean oven racks back in.
Let’s keep your oven looking like new from now on! Shannon Lush will show you how to clean your oven in five minutes.

How to Wear Pantyhose
“Set the stove and oven to cold, take out all the racks and shelves, and then sprinkle baking soda all over the oven,” she shared.

“Next, sprinkle white vinegar on top.” When the bicarbonate of soda starts to fizz, roll up your tights and rub it in. So fast, the muck comes off. Then all you have to do is use a damp sponge to clean it. By putting a mirror in the oven’s base, you can see the top without having to turn your head around.

Lush says that tights are the best thing to use as a scrub cloth. She says that underwear works just as well as a microfiber cloth and costs a lot less.

HOW TO MAKE CREAMY CRUST LEMON BARS:

Things you’ll need for the crust:

1 cup of graham cracker crumbs 4 tablespoons of melted salted butter
₢6 big egg yolks for the filling
3 teaspoons of freshly grated lemon zest 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice (from 5 to 6 big lemons)
$two cans of sweetened condensed milk
Add ▓½ cup of cold heavy cream and ▓¼ cup of powdered sugar to the top.
Tips and Advice
To make the crust:
Warm the oven up to 350 degrees. Pulse the graham crackers and butter together in a food processor until they are completely mixed. The texture should be like wet sand.

In the bottom of an 11″x7″ baking pan, press the crumbs together. Note: You can use a 9″x9″ square baking dish instead of an 11″x7″ one if you don’t have one. The bars will be a little thicker.
As soon as the crust turns golden brown, take it out of the oven. Leave the oven on and let it cool down.
For the filling, use an electric mixer to mix the egg whites and lemon juice until the mixture is VERY thick, which should take about 5 minutes.
Add the sweetened condensed milk slowly, in a steady stream, while mixing all the time.
Mix in the fresh lemon juice until everything is well mixed. Cover the shell with the filling and bake at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the filling is just set.
Let it cool all the way down, then cover it up and put it in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
Mix the powdered sugar and cold heavy cream until the cream is light and fluffy.
Cover the lemon bars with the filling. Sprinkle lemon juice, lemon pieces, or other things on top. Keep bars in the fridge.
