Creamy Spinach Mushroom Pork Chops

I prepared this dish tonight for dinner. Something different than plain fried chops. OMG is all there is to say. My husband was crazy about and I loved it!

So yummy. Next time we’ll add onions also. It was so good. Have a new dish to feed to company

I will make again. The only addition was Parmesan on top at the end.

What do you need to make Pork Chops w/ Mushroom Spinach Sauce 

  • 4-6 pork chops
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 8 oz mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dry oregano
  • Red pepper flakes to taste
  • 3 cups spinach, chopped

How to make Pork Chops w/ Mushroom Spinach Sauce

FIRST STEP:

Season the pork chops with salt & pepper and fry or bake until done

Saute mushrooms in skillet with olive oil or butter until tender

SECOND STEP:

Add garlic and cook for one minute

Stir in heavy cream, parmesan cheese, oregano, pepper flakes and salt & pepper to taste – cook until thickened

THIRD STEP:

Add spinach and cook until wilted

Place pork chops in skillet for about 5 minutes
