Why is this recipe so perfect?
This dish is easy to prepare, only takes five minutes and the crockpot does the work. It is ham and potatoes, two foods that when combined with cheese make a perfect meal. This recipe can also be altered so that it fits your family’s likes.
What type of potato is best to use in this meal?
I use a bag of frozen hashbrowns. It makes preparation so much easier. If you choose to, you could shred your own potatoes for the hashbrowns. I would use Yukon Gold potatoes; they stand up so much nicer without getting mushy quickly.
