Decadent Surf and Turf with Cajun Shrimp in a Silky Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

2 ribeye steaks
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Juice of 1 lemon
Directions:

Season the steaks with salt, pepper, and 1 tbsp of Cajun seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Add steaks and sear each side for about 4 minutes or until desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add shrimp and remaining Cajun seasoning. Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Lower heat to medium, add garlic to the skillet, and sauté for 1 minute.
Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add parmesan cheese and stir until melted and sauce is creamy.
Return shrimp to the skillet. Add lemon juice and parsley, stirring to combine.
Slice steak and serve with creamy Cajun shrimp sauce poured over the top.
