Delicious Homemade Burgers

Ingredients

500 grams of ground meat (can be beef, turkey, chicken or a mix)
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 egg
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking oil
Hamburger buns
Additional ingredients (lettuce, tomato, cheese, bacon, etc.)

Directions:

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, minced onion, minced garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix everything with your hands until the ingredients are well combined.

Divide the mixture into portions of the desired size for the burgers and shape each portion into a ball. Then, flatten each ball into a hamburger shape. You can make them the size you prefer.

Heat a large skillet or grill over medium-high heat and add a little oil to prevent the patties from sticking.

Cook the burgers for about 4-6 minutes on each side, depending on how thick the burgers are and how you like it done (rare, medium, well done).

During the last few minutes of cooking, if you want to add cheese to the burgers, place a slice of cheese on top of each burger and let it melt.

While the burgers are cooking, you can lightly toast the burger buns in the skillet or in a toaster.

Once the burgers are cooked to your liking, remove them from the heat.

Assemble the burgers by placing one patty on the bottom half of each burger bun. Then add your favorite toppings like lettuce, tomato, onion, bacon, sauces, etc.

Cover with the other half of the bread and voila! Serve your homemade burgers accompanied by fries, salad or other accompaniments of your choice.
