Flight attendant finds secret note in airplane toilets that reads “I need help” – immediately calls police

In the midst of flying at altitudes Shelia Fredrick, a flight attendant who is well versed in handling various passenger situations stumbled upon a completely unexpected and life changing encounter. This incident took place during a flight, from Seattle to San Francisco.

As she made her way through the aircraft Shelia noticed something a girl with blonde hair dressed in worn out clothes sitting next to an impeccably dressed older gentleman. When their eyes met there was an intensity in the girls gaze that caught Shelias attention and seemed to convey a pressing urgency.

“I was deeply struck by the contrast between their circumstances. The stark difference between the girls poverty and the mans wealth raised some concerns ” Sheila reflected thoughtfully.

Intrigued by this situation she decided to strike up a conversation with the man. However he immediately became defensive which only heightened Shelias suspicions.

” from the start I had a feeling. The man appeared older than his companion and his reactions to everything around him seemed overly reactive. I’m glad I acted quickly and potentially saved someones life.”

on while discreetly visiting the lavatory Shelia left behind a pen and paper hoping that it might be of help, to the girl if she needed it.
Shelia discreetly gestured to the girl guiding her to make her way, to the restroom. The girl complied without hesitation.

When Shelia returned she unexpectedly stumbled upon a note that bore a plea for help; “I am in need of assistance.”

Reacting swiftly Shelia wasted no time in reaching out to the authorities. Upon their arrival law enforcement was prepared and ready to apprehend the man at hand.

As investigations unfolded it became evident that this 14 year old girl had fallen victim to a case of trafficking having been abducted merely two months prior.
