Hamburger Casserole

I’ve made this twice. I didn’t feel the time in the oven improved the taste the first time, so today we ate right from the stovetop with shredded cheese on top.

Made this again tonight for dinner.

We felt we needed some comfort food and this sure fit the bill. I followed the recipe as written. It was easy and yummy.

I served a Caesar salad to complete the meal.

Preparation     15 minutes

Cooking           20 minutes

Total                35 minutes

What do you need to make Hamburger Casserole

1 lb pasta

1 lb ground beef

1 tablespoon dry onion, minced

1 tablespoon garlic powder

2 cans tomato soup

2 cups cheddar cheese

2 cups mozzarella cheese

½ cup water

Salt & pepper to taste

How to make Hamburger Casserole

FIRST STEP:

Preheat oven 375 and prepare a 13×9 baking dish with nonstick spray

Cook pasta per package directions, drain, set aside

SECOND STEP:

Cook meat, drain, then add seasonings and stir until well combined

Stir in cooked pasta, soup, and ½ of the cheese

THIRD STEP:

Spoon into baking dish, top with remaining cheese

Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes

FOURTH STEP:

Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes
