Keto Pizza Skillet

INGREDIENTS:

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 pound ground Italian sausage or ground beef

1/2 cup low-carb pizza sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup sliced pepperoni or other keto-friendly pizza toppings (optional)

Fresh basil leaves, chopped (for garnish)

Red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook Meat: Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the ground sausage or beef to the skillet and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until it’s browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease if necessary.

Add Sauce: Once the meat is cooked, spread the low-carb pizza sauce evenly over the cooked meat in the skillet.

Top with Cheese and Toppings: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese. If desired, add sliced pepperoni or any other keto-friendly pizza toppings of your choice.

Bake: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
