Oatmeal Bread

Ingredients:

1 cup of oats (100 gr)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup walnuts
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 tablespoon flaxseed
1 egg
1 glass of yogurt
2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil (optional for softness)
100 ml of water
Nuts and seeds to taste (optional)
1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
Some sesame seeds or the one you like the most (it can be several at a time) to decorate

Directions:

In a blender, grind the oats, but not too finely.
Add the salt, baking powder, walnuts and grind everything again in the blender.
In a bowl, add the egg and yogurt. Beat with a mixer until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
If you choose to use it, add the vegetable oil and beat again.
Gradually pour the water into the mixture.
Add the nuts, dried fruits and seeds you have selected.
Prepare a loaf pan, preferably lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
Sprinkle the pumpkin and sesame seeds on top.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C or 360°F for approximately 35 minutes.
Once cooked, allow the bread to cool completely before slicing.

This oatmeal bread is ideal for any time of day. Its consistency and flavor make it perfect to accompany with jams, pâtés or simply alone.
