Some viewers are furious after seeing a little detail in a mother’s adorable video of her adorable baby girl.

You have the right to make choices for your child as a parent. Of course, not everybody has to concur with your decisions.

And when your choice is made public to thousands, some individuals will disagree…

Due to her parents’ sharing of videos of their child on the platform, 4-month-old Lara is already a huge star on TikTok. On her TikTok page, there are dozens of videos of the infant.

Lara’s mother uploaded a video of her “growing up” to show her fans how much she had changed from when she was born in the hospital to when she was four months old.

People were outraged that a baby so young had her ears pierced. They discussed if that was acceptable. Then some noted that it is typical for newborn babies to have their ears pierced in some cultures.

People continued to express their worries and displeasure with Lara’s mother over her choice, saying they believed the infant should have had the freedom to decide for herself when she was older whether or not she wanted her ears pierced.

“I just don’t get it,” one reviewer remarked. And the pain is identical to when they are older! Don’t fool yourself,” one person said, while another added, “It’s their choice whether they want their ears pierced, or is it? When my infants are old enough to understand these concepts, I’ll let them decide.

But despite all the criticism and reprimand, Lara’s mother continued to defend herself and her choice.

“You don’t experience agony while getting your ears pierced when you’re 2 or 3 days old like you do when you’re 1 or 2 years old. The woman claimed that neonatologists drill holes in the newborns in the hospital.

Along with Lara’s mother, other individuals noted how different cultures have different traditions. Each parent has a unique philosophy about how to raise their child.
