This Sour Cream Beef Noodle Casserole is a comforting and hearty dish that combines savory ground beef, creamy sour cream, and tender noodles in a flavorful one-pot meal. It’s perfect for a satisfying family dinner any night of the week.

Ingredients:

8 ounces egg noodles

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 pound ground beef

1 onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 cup beef broth

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

Cook the Noodles:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until it is browned and no longer pink. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Add Onions and Seasonings:

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook until the onions are softened. Season with salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and dried thyme. Stir to combine.

Deglaze and Combine:

Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Allow the mixture to reduce slightly, then remove from heat. Stir in the sour cream until well combined.

Assemble the Casserole:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large baking dish, combine the cooked noodles and the beef mixture. Stir until everything is well mixed.

Add Cheese and Bake:

Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the casserole. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish and Serve:

Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
